ROAD TRIP TO MUSKOKA WITH FORD CANADA

ROAD TRIP TO MUSKOKA WITH FORD CANADA

I took a quick break from the city with my girl Mikaela from @shopaholmik and Ford Canada to Muskoka and it was such a great experience. I didn’t even realize how badly I needed to take a pause and relax in a beautiful environment.

We had a chance to take a road trip on a Ford Edge which was so comfortable, spacious and perfect for adventure seekers and anyone who is looking for a great car with lots of great features like an amazing sounds system, all wheel drive which was so convenient because we drove in the rain and at times it was pouring and we never even worried about the drive and felt completely safe. Ford has been the number one SUV Brand since 2009 and their wide offering  SUVs means there is a one for literally every lifestyle!

Our first stop was at the Candy Shoppe and to say this was a dream come true is an understatement. We got a chance to pick up all the candy we could carry and it was so overwhelming in the best possible way! This place is a gem! Lots of  vintage candy goodies.

Once we arrived at the beautiful Sherwood Inn which is located on Lake Joseph had a photography lesson with Michelle Valberg, a wildlife photographer who is so passionate and good at what she does, I learned so many amazing things about lighting, textures, positioning and looking further than what meets the eye, She was truly inspiring!

We also enjoyed a photography session once the rain cleared and got a preview of two new 2018 models (Photographed below) Very excited to share more details soon!

The evening ended perfectly as we had dinner, enjoyed some delicious salmon and steak and white wine. We also did some wine tasting thanks to Johnston’s Cranberry Winery. We had a chance to visit and enjoyed some cranberry and blueberry cheese, my favorite one was the Havarti. We even got to take some home along with some crackers, sauces and other goodies from the winery. This place is perfect to spend a couple of hours and relax while enjoying some wine and bites. I cant wait to go back during harvest season!

We sat by the fire at the end of the night and enjoyed more wine. It was relaxing and just perfect.

The next morning we had breakfast and headed out to Bala to Don’s Bakery where we picked up all kinds of donuts and other baked goods. Another great spot in Muskoka!

We enjoyed our ride back to the city and felt relaxed and renewed. Thank you so much to all the participating vendors and Ford Canada for this amazing experience!
