back to school with upper canada

Fall is almost here which means time to go back to school, back to work after summer vacation and of course, shopping for new looks for the new season.

I had the chance to shop at Upper Canada located in Newmarket with my daughter Paula and we hit our favorite stores: Zara, Aritzia, Sephora and had a great time picking up layering pieces and new cozy knits.

We were shopping for Paula but for of course I had to pick up some goodies for myself. Upper Canada has options for everyone in the family, its always super fun to go for a full afternoon, do some shopping, enjoy some Starbucks to help you keep going and end up the day at Arthur’s Landing for a yummy dinner which is exactly what we did.  I work from home so Im pretty flexible with my wardrobe and live in jeans and cozy mules or running shoes. I am also into slips, oversized coats and and classics like a good black and white striped sweater. It’s a classic!

Paula’s go-tos are chunky sweaters and menswear pants and jumpsuits. She wears a lot of black, we both do. I feel like you can’t go wrong with black!

We put together a visual story wearing our favorite looks. I was so happy to go through this experience with my little one. She will be 18th in a couple of months and this is her last year of high school  so it was extra special to be able to go with her.

I still love holing her hand, I wish I could still do that every time we cross a street. She is growing into this beautiful confident young woman who wants to study film. I couldn’t be more proud!
